The Assocation Health Plan legislation before Congress now would allow franchisees and franchisors to band together through a trade association to find affordable health coverage. While there is not one solution to the inadequate health insurance coverage in the U.S., IFA is confident that AHPs would help level the playing field for small businesses who presently are struggling to offer insurance to their employees."
